Psalm 95
There is a time and a place when God’s people are called to gather to lift up praise to Father God. Psalm 95 exhorts us to do so. “O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation . . .” We are encouraged to gather to give thanks, offer psalms, worship, bow down, and kneel before Him. The reason for such actions on our part---- He is a great God! Our expressions in worship are to match His greatness. How we participate in Sunday worship is a reflection of how great we believe our God is!
Worship must be expressed to be authentic worship. We may express our worship verbally (singing, speaking, shouting) or non-verbally (bowing down, kneeling, standing). We cannot worship without some expression of our heart being manifest though our being.
Every Sunday we set aside a time and a place for God’s people to gather to express worship to Him. He is a great God, worthy to be praised. Let us do so with all our hearts.
