Looking forward to celebrating the resurrection…

    In a couple of weeks Christians around the world will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.   The resurrection is the cornerstone event upon which our relationship with God as Father is possible.   Jesus lives, that He might live in us.  When we celebrate we not only focus on the event, but we rejoice in the One who was raised.

    On April 4 we will combine our two worship services, and gather jointly at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary.  We also are planning a time for some mingling at 10:15 AM in the fellowship hall.  We’re asking our folks to bring some “breakfasty” items that we can enjoy with a cup of coffee as we mingle before heading into worship.

    Let us be diligent to invite our unchurched friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate with us.  We have some printed cards that can be handed out as invitations.  We must get back to the work of the kingdom and this occasion is a good opportunity to do so.
