Bridge City Church Praises

Hey Teammates,

Greetings from Cincinnati. As we head into the fall and winter months, we are excited for what lies ahead. Opportunities abound for investing in the lives of others.

Here are a few wins we are excited about:

Meeting Space Anniversary

October 29th will be the one-year anniversary of meeting in the Anderson Center for worship services. What a blessing this has been. We are excited to celebrate God’s provisions of the first year as we head into year two.

New Small Groups

In September, we started a new Bridge group and it has gone fantastically. We gather every other Wednesday for a meal and Bible study. So much life happens at these gatherings. On October 29th, we are starting a men’s group. I’m excited to watch what God does in a group of men who are seeking to be “kingdom focused.”

FCA

The FCA huddle I help lead at Anderson High School continues to grow. Our weekly attendance average is almost 10 people more than it was last year. In week three, we had a football player give his life to Jesus. We are praying that he would be the first domino to fall; influencing many more to choose Jesus.

Local Families

Over the last several months, there has been a transition of families in our church. Several of the families that helped us get started, who were driving almost an hour one-way to meet for church, have moved on. As these families have transitioned out, God has filled the void with local families who live in Anderson. Although our weekly worship numbers are similar to what they have been, the make-up and DNA of who we are is much different. God is positioning us to be better equipped to impact our community.

 Fire Hydrants

Our current number of painted fire hydrants sits at 116. The yearly goal is 200, so we will have to hustle to reach that number before the weather turns too cold. We continue to have meaningful interactions when we get out and paint.

Thank you for partnering with us through prayer and financial giving. It is important and not taken for granted. God is on the move on the east side of Cincinnati, and we are HERE for it!

Let’s Win Cincinnati!
